Cup Collection

The reusable cup will be one of the non-musical headliners at Primavera Sound 2019. For the first time this year, in collaboration with Re-Cup, Pull&Bear and Heineken, reusable polypropylene cups will be made specially for the festival, 100% recycled and recyclable. Each cup can be used up to 150 times! Also, its manufacture is 100% CO2 neutral as Re-Cup will offset the emissions by planting 45 trees in our country this year.

How does it work?   You pay 1€ for your cup when you buy your first drink, and you can reuse it as many times as you want. If you want to change the cup for a clean one with your next drink, you can do so without any extra cost at the bar.

And, yes you can take your cup home and come back with it the next day, with no restrictions. The more you use your cup the better! You can even come back with it next year, if you want. We will be delighted, and the planet even more so.

Will the glasses be special?

They will actually. Because there won’t only be one model but, 20! One for each Primavera line up from 2001 to 2019... And that’s not all. Because there will be surprises to complete the collection of 20.

Does that mean that there is a prize?

Yes! If you don’t want to carry your cup around or you find cups that have been left lying around the site, you have two options:

- Collect 20 cups (whatever the size or the year) and go to the Stand 2020 located on the Paseo Marítimo of the Parc del Fòrum to exchange them for a free beer.

- Or you can go one better. Because if you bring all 19 cups (i.e. one from each edition and all of them the 40 cl size) plus cup number 20 you will automatically get a full festival ticket for Primavera Sound 2020 Barcelona.

Stand schedule: from Thursday to Saturday until 3:00. All the collected cups will be recycled for next year.

Reuse it. Keep it. Collect it. Recycle it. Just don’t throw your Primavera Sound cup away!

And what if you want to bring your own cup from home? As long as it is reusable plastic and has a minimum capacity of 40 cl, there’s no problem.
