When you go to Argentina, it is not only recommendable to go to a football match to live the ferocity of the terraces; it is also advisable to go to a concert to see that even smallest of bands have a fervent following. Although, after five records, the creative stature of the La Plata band 107 Faunos (whose local fans would kill for them) is not exactly a small one.  Their pop with an altered state of consciousness has expanded without losing any of its vigour on the way. They walk the same line as their friends’ Él Mató A Un Policía Motorizado, but also have lots in common with the new idols of alternative Argentinian rock such as Las Ligas Menores and Bestia Bebé: they are as wise as the first, and as rowdy as the second.
