Primavera Sound Barcelona
They say that his first love was drum ’n’ bass, but in fact Martyn doesn’t understand total commitment. In fact if war broke out on the dance floor he probably wouldn’t know who to side with. Whether to go with roots or futurism. With melancholy or energy. Chicago or Detroit. This Washington D.C.-based Dutch artist’s promiscuity leads him to embrace both post-dubstep and UK garage, and if one night he goes with techno, the next he plays a house session. He has also gone to bed with labels such as Ostgut Ton, Dolly, Hyperdub, Brainfeeder, Ninja Tune, Warp as well as his own, 3024, and among an endless list of collaborators we find Ben Klock, Steffi, Four Tet and Flying Lotus. He is however totally faithful to his residences in the best clubs around the world and we can confirm that he will not let you down at Primavera Sound.
