Between desecration and the sacred. Between futuristic imagery and Christian iconography. Between traditional gospel song and Auto-Tune puke with a little bile. Between the cold synthetic arrangements and torrid Caribbean dances. Between both sexes (or neither). Ian Isiah’s music is always at this oxymoronic crossroads, halfway between the most lascivious queer clubs of Brooklyn and the Eden-like paradises of avant garde R&B, where he is sometimes dragged by the hand of collaborators like Blood Orange and Yves Tumor. Pansexual, pangender, panracial, pan-everything… and at the same time so fierce, elusive and alien. Press play and listen to his lustful sextape. It is no more and no less than a declaration of pure and sincere love.
