Primavera Sound Barcelona
Most of the biographies for this festival are written whilst listening to the artist in question, trying to imbue the text with the spirit of their music. With Lisabö, it wasn’t the case, for the simple reason that the intense art of the Irun-band needs our total attention, freezing out whatever else we have to do. Only after the explosion, when a deafening silence surrounds us, can we put together a sentence that tries to do justice to the colossal post-hardcore with which the band purges our uneasiness every so often. A cycle that was reactivated at the end of 2018 with the appearance, by surprise and hype-free, of their fifth album Eta edertasunaren lorratzetan biluztu ginen, which has become the last hit in a year that we had already closed. Now, we only need to count the days until we can see a live act that is literally cathartic, from which you leave dazed but also more alive.
