For the first time, Mango House lays claim to a space on the Parc del Fòrum site in which to offer acoustic concerts by three of the most significant new contemporary female voices.
The cosy space will be inaugurated on Thursday 1st June with modern country with hints of 50s pop and garage by Nikki Lane, who has become one of the leading ladies of this genre. She will be followed, on Friday 2nd June, by folk with touches of psychedelia from the other American artist Weyes Blood, who fuses warmth and experimentation without losing sight of tradition. Lastly, the personal sound of the Catalan artist Núria Graham, who experiments with rock, folk, pop and jazz in her elaborate original compositions, will put the finishing touches to this select programme on Saturday 3rd June.
The performances in Mango House will start at 7:30 pm on each of the main days of Primavera Sound and you can attend by showing your full festival wristband or day wristband until full capacity is reached.
