Primera als Bars will fill small format venues with live music

The seventh edition of Primavera als Bars will be the starting signal for Primavera Sound’s free activities with the vital collaboration of Heineken. From 3rd to 24th May, a total of eleven emerging artists and bands will present their projects in venues that are not usually featured on the live music circuit but will become stages on which the promising local artists can be seen.

As part of Primavera a la Ciutat, that for yet another year aims to bring live music to the whole of the city, the performances will primarily be by Barcelona bands, but there will also be shows by artists from other areas of Catalonia, Spain and even Europe.

The protagonists of this free series of concerts will be the multi-talented French crooner Ryder The Eagle, Jazz (Yago Alcover’s, formerly in Mujeres, new band), elegant and sensitive pop from Silent James, classicism with hints of Britpop by The Harlock, a fun walk through the 80s with Papá Topo, the atmospheric rock of Aldrin y Collins, experimental folk by All Indians No Chief, indie rock courtesy of Belushi, Mediterranean airs from the Mallorca duo Donallop and lo-fi tunes from Regalim.
